Hi, I’m Dave. Some call me boss, others call me when the trash is full. Let me tell you a little bit about our company.
Here’s the boilerplate from our press releases: “Propeller Media Works is an interactive strategy and development company located in Burlington, Vermont. We specialize in online marketing, web design, and custom application development. We’ve been in business since 1997 and have an awesome crew of 15.”
So, here’s the rest of the story…
While in the early years, we were known for our design and technical depth as they related primarily to websites, today our focus has grown as the spectrum of online marketing tools and channels have expanded. The website is still arguably the most powerful element of an online marketing program, however it alone cannot provide success. You need multiple coordinated elements to really attract, engage, convert and then retain an audience. Social marketing now plays an ever-growing role in this collage. I think people are only now beginning to get it, and if you’re not focusing on social yet, perhaps you should.
So let me introduce the crew that gets it done. We have a pretty good reputation, so over the years we’ve been able to attract very strong talent. We now have the dream team. Beyond their expertise, each is driven by strong character and a great work ethic. Besides being very “webby” in general, they really knows their stuff. They’re all veterans.
I think we’re also just good people. We treat clients like partners and give them the attention we would expect ourselves. That attention starts with our account service team and extends throughout the agency (when recruiting, I always look for restaurant experience). The account team does a great job of making sure clients are kept apprised of progress and that projects are brought to completion efficiently and on time. That’s not easy in this business.
Typically designers get a bad wrap as primadonnas who put their design ethos first. Not the case here. Bill and his team, put the egos aside, and focus instead on understanding the brand and what needs to be communicated. They get inside the heads of the visitor, and align their needs with the business needs of the client. The result is always elegant and effective – as you can see by our portfolio.
What unfortunately goes unseen when looking at our portfolio is the technical side that delivers the content and functionality. While many competitors lack the in-house depth and have to rely on others for guidance and execution, we have all of that knowledge and skill right here.
Come over and visit. Its a pretty cool place – if I may say so myself.
